ClaroWorks began as Dive Xtras in 2003, founded by Ben McGeever to develop innovative underwater products. With aerospace tooling and manufacturing experience, the team expanded into ruggedized systems and complex mechanical projects.
During the 2008–2009 recession, the engineering and manufacturing group evolved into ClaroWorks, broadening its focus across industries. In 2018, the company moved into its current 10,000 sq ft Everett facility, supporting growth in engineering, prototyping, and productization capabilities.
