ClaroWorks is a highly skilled team offering mechanical engineering and product development services in the greater Seattle area and across the globe. We specialize in projects where something is made: prototypes, mechanisms, tooling, or short run production.

What we offer is unique. We take highly motivated people with a mechanical engineering degree and give them direct access to an array of manufacturing equipment, from CNC to molding machines. We don’t employ machinists or programmers or mold makers, we give our team the skills they need for these activities.

When you link these tasks through a single person, or a small team, you inherently design products that can be made, made well, and even more importantly, made quickly.

Concept

HaloSource

ClaroWorks collaborated with Seattle-based HaloSource to develop a lead-filtering water bottle. ClaroWorks contributed mechanical integration of the various components, injection molding DFM, and the integration of an industrial design strategy.

Engineering Support

We specialize in augmenting existing teams who need additional resources for a project. From a single person to a team managing all mechanical aspects of your project, we can typically find a fit with your needs. In addition to purely design activities, all our team come with access to ClaroWorks’ full resources, which means if your project is moving towards prototyping or EV build, we can often greatly simplify your project requirements in these areas also.

UAV Helicopter

ClaroWorks developed a hybrid UAV helicopter to support a customer’s land surveying efforts.

Prototyping and testing are cornerstones of the product development process. Most of the work we do involves developing functionality that doesn’t necessarily exist, so we try to prototype and test early and often. This gives us the maximum time to iterate and improve. We also have experience designing and qualifying products to a variety of harmonized standards.

Alpha Contract Manufacturing

As products move through their development cycle, there is often a period after prototyping and before large-scale production where the quantities exceed your prototyping capability, but you are still iterating and are not at the point where a handoff to a large-scale contract manufacture (CM) makes sense. ClaroWorks thrives in this area, we can offer you the ability to make one, two, or even three hundred, yet still remain flexible, changing and iterating rapidly. Once the product is stabilized, your CM handoff will be considerably smoother.

From electronics assembly and testing to aerospace composite fixturing we provide solutions to your manufacturing problems.
