Hand Assembly Tooling
To support an EV build of virtual reality hardware, ClaroWorks developed a line of modular hand assembly tooling. This tooling assisted in everything from board testing to component pressing and flexible circuit board installation.
As part of this project, the Precision Toggle Clamp product line was developed. This line of toggle clamps was designed as a drop-in replacement for existing toggle clamps that errs towards easing repetitive operator action. By including bearings at all motion points, overall actuation effort is greatly reduced when compared to existing toggle clamp solutions, allowing tooling operators a more pleasant and lower-effort experience!
